Security Officer (DV Clearance) Join Securitas UK as a Security Officer (DV Clearance) and take your career to the next level with one of our most prestigious global clients. This role offers the opportunity to achieve DV Clearance, comprehensive training, and outstanding benefits. Location Bracknell, Swindon, Didcot – M4 Corridor Pay & Hours £20.00 per hour, Monday to Friday – 48 hours per week (over 4 days) working 07:00 to 19:00. Full UK driving licence with vehicle access required. Key Responsibilities Conduct external and internal security patrols and routine tests of security equipment. Accurately maintain all logbooks and records, ensuring paperwork is completed timely and conduct effective handover procedures. Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management. Monitor and escort visitors and staff within secure zones around the site, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. Display an outstanding level of customer service and high standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer. Undertake any other duties as requested by Management. Essential Qualifications Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history. British nationality and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years. Valid current SIA licence. Full UK driving licence with vehicle access (willing to travel between sites). Full dedication and commitment to engaging in and completing the thorough DV clearance process. No criminal convictions. Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry. Attention to detail and fair knowledge of access control and surveillance systems. Proficiency in report writing to document incidents and reports clearly and accurately. Proficiency in both speaking and written English, with ability to convey information concisely.
