The Role

Location: London Hybrid (3 days per week)
Type: Full Time
Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our growing Commercial Finance Team You will provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial performance including analysis of returns on investment and capex projects.

  1. Support the Financial Planning Manager in delivering the budgeting, forecasting and long-range business plans.
  2. Manage production and evolution of the monthly management pack, including the provision of insightful commentary on key performance and any variances.
  3. Provide support to the internal capex committee through the development of accurate capex reporting and analysis, working with key stakeholders to ensure robust processes and controls are operating.
  4. Business partnering Central Operations, Property and Development teams.
  5. Take ownership of all refurbishment and existing estate feasibility models, and deliver continual improvements to these to assist key strategic decision making for new sites & refurbishments.
  6. Ownership of refurbishment performance tracking; along with clear analysis and insight to stakeholders to help drive investment returns.
  7. Involvement in many ad-hoc business initiatives; providing commercial challenges and analytical support.
  8. Improving the commerciality and financial awareness of non-finance teams.
  9. Supporting the financial accounting team, enabling them to maximise efficiencies through additional utilisation of tools.

The Person

  • Qualified accountant/finalist (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong data and financial analysis skills
  • Quick to learn and implement new concepts, knowledge and skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, able to prepare board information packs and present complex information clearly and in summary form
  • Confidence with working cross functionally
  • Able to self-motivate and work to strict deadlines
  • Team player and flexible depending upon the urgent needs of the business
