As the ICT Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the ICT department in alignment with the business objectives of the Group. In this role you will plan, direct, coordinate and design ICT activities, as well as provide direction and support for the daily operational activities of the ICT department. You will also support the development of a functional strategic roadmap that is consistent with the business objectives to include ICT related activities within affiliates on a worldwide basis, ensuring an appropriate balance between central and local ICT control. This role is based at our Chipping Norton & Witney site. Key Responsibilities Delivery of a motivated, continuous improvement culture within the team – ensuring the smooth running of the day‑to‑day ICT activities that support the business. Leading ICT operations and infrastructure development, ensuring an appropriate technical support framework is in place, including management and delivery of internal and external service support within a defined SLA. Managing the technical aspect of key business applications such as the Group's ERP and document management solutions. Adopting an authoritative, proactive approach in dealing with external suppliers, including outsourced activities. Delivering key ICT business strategies as outlined by the Group Quality & RA Director and consistent with Group objectives. Managing the ICT department and supporting the Group Quality & RA Director in controlling ICT use within the Group while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance at all times. Handling ICT aspects of the business continuity plan (BCP), ensuring adequate backup and disaster recovery systems in line with the BCP, and selecting and negotiating external maintenance and support contracts. Maintaining security systems to protect the integrity of all ICT systems, including virus protection, firewalls, file protection, and computer security technologies. Promoting innovation in the ICT team and developing the team through professional development, industry events and best practice. Qualifications Good understanding of major components supporting a complex shared ICT service infrastructure including virtualization, data warehousing, data integration, development support and user‑facing services. Experience working with ICT in a regulated industry. Understanding of provision of ICT within a multi‑national environment. Knowledge of commercial contracts, service level agreements and KPIs. Experience managing change. A track record of successfully delivering complex ICT projects. Experience with SQL and managing ERP technical aspects. Experience inspiring, engaging and motivating a team to achieve excellent user‑focused results. Benefits 25 days annual leave (with the opportunity to earn loyalty days with length of service).
