Production Quality EngineerPortsmouth£40-50kWe're looking for a Production Quality Engineer to support product and process compliance, working with the company quality management system, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 requirements / documentation.They will be part of the UK quality team and continuously improve operational yield through deployment of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) for assembly and test operations.You'll likely spend 80% of time in production and 20% in the office, so you'll need to develop a good rapport with the shop floor production staff. It's estimated that you'll conduct 2-3 audits / month and initially the role will be reactive but becoming more proactive.FAIRS / 8D investigations will also be part of your remit.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesIdeally an electronics background ideally although mechanical will be consideredIndustry experience from either the aerospace / defence or similar highly regulated industryExperience of AS9100, 13485 or possibly 17025Lean / sigma exposure / knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
