The role involves covering maternity leave, with Saturday working on a rota basis. The upcoming 12 months will witness the hospital’s transition to a brand new electronic prescribing system, marking a significant milestone for the institution.The Job:As a Pharmacy Technician, working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Providing in-house pharmacy services for both Inpatients and Outpatients.Assisting with dispensing duties.Conducting procurement, distribution, stock-taking, and replenishing pharmacy items to wards and departments.If ACT and MM trained, assisting with clinical ward work and checking.The Person:To succeed in this role as a Pharmacy Technician, you must:Hold NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent.Be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society.Work collaboratively within our team to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, prioritizing patient experience and safety.Possess experience within a hospital pharmacy setting.Demonstrate good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.Hold a Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.Desirable – Possess an Accredited Checking Technician qualification.Helping You Feel Good:At Nuffield Health, we prioritize your well-being.
