Our client is a rapidly expanding asbestos company who offer a wide range of professional services to clients nationwide. Due to this expansion they are now looking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Fire Risk Assessor based in and around the Darlington area. Applications from Northallerton, Barnard Castle, Durham, Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience: Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered – or Fire trained-NVQ levels. Experience of undertaking fire risk assessments. Will have a strong educational, technical, construction, fire service or consultancy background. Possess a good working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Key Role: Carry out Fire Risk and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in a variety of industry sectors including commercial, industrial and residential. Undertake Fire plan drawings, fire drills, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings etc. Deliver presentations to staff and clients. Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
