We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join one of our prestigious client sites and support our dedicated AV & Event team. You will provide high‑class technical and personal service to senior figures from government and external organisations, demanding a professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail. Working hours: 8 hours between 07:30 – 22:00 Monday to Friday 8 hours between 07:30 – 16:30 during recess 40‑hour week within a rota system Security screening (BPSS & Parliamentary Clearance) is required. Key responsibilities: Ensure operational availability of all dedicated event spaces, AV and hybrid meeting rooms Perform AV equipment setup, installation and support as required Provide technical support for events, including duration support when requested Set up and operate client‑supplied infrastructure, equipment and applications in dedicated live event spaces and meeting rooms to deliver live events Attend post‑event debriefs when requested Respond to emergency/ad‑hoc requests, adhering to SLA’s where relevant Conduct regular proactive room and equipment checks Assist in maintaining "as built" documentation Contribute to the team’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) Assist in arranging loan equipment to meet client specifications Demonstrate self‑service AV and VC capabilities to end users wherever possible Skills and Experience: Knowledge of AV solutions from a technical perspective Proven experience with digital mixing desks, vision mixers and camera controls Knowledge of collaboration clients such as Cisco, Teams, Zoom and Google Excellent people skills, including strong verbal and written communication Adaptability to work in unfamiliar surroundings Passionate customer‑service attitude and proven customer‑service skills Extensive experience in a high‑pressure operational environment Willingness to undertake security screening (BPSS & SC) If you require reasonable adjustments for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know at the time of scheduling.
