We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our facility in Wellingborough. The purpose of this role is to complete all related engineering activities at the Wellingborough Factory and associated sites, supporting safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operation. Key Responsibilities Lead day‑to‑day maintenance activities for all plant equipment and technical tasks. Maximise efficiency by optimising use of equipment, labour and resources to benefit the company. Ensure all maintenance operations comply with agreed procedures and health and safety regulations. Key Requirements Solid background in Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics & PLC with relevant qualifications (minimum BTEC or C&G). Numerate, analytical and IT literate. Vocational Engineering qualifications in mechanical & electrical. Experience in relevant batch and flexible manufacturing & engineering processes. Experience in continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC issues. Team player with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement. Knowledge of health & safety regulations. Previous experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
