Care Assistant Based in Dereham Salary: £13.20 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile Areas covered: Dereham, Shipdham, Mattishall, Hockering, East Tuddenham, Beetley, Gressenhall and the surrounding areas. Hours: 6.30am-2.30pm and 3pm-11pm, 4/3 shift pattern / Part Time Hours / Must be available every other weekend Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role. You will: Responsibilities Provide compassionate support with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care—always with dignity and respect. Assist with daily living tasks, such as preparing nutritious meals, light housekeeping, and occasional shopping to help maintain a comfortable home environment. Support with medication routines, ensuring individuals receive the right help at the right time, with full training provided. Offer meaningful companionship, bringing warmth, reassurance, and social interaction to brighten someone’s day. Qualifications Kind, reliable and caring individuals. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for accurate record‑keeping. Willingness to learn and share our values: commitment to positive change, trust, professional excellence, and delivering personalised care. Right to work in the UK. No Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship. Driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
