An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fire Engineer to join a respected fire safety consultancy with a growing presence across the UK and Ireland. Known for their people-first ethos, this progressive firm is seeking a proactive Lead Fire Engineer to strengthen their experienced team in their London office.The Lead Fire Engineer’s RoleThe Lead Fire Engineer will manage the delivery of tailored fire safety solutions across varied sectors. This includes developing fire strategy reports, producing fee proposals, attending client meetings, and overseeing site surveys and inspections. The successful Lead Fire Engineer will provide technical leadership and contribute to the development of junior team members, while managing workload to ensure effective project delivery.This is a client-facing role, requiring regular communication of fire strategies and solutions to project stakeholders. The Lead Fire Engineer will also carry out advanced fire engineering calculations, undertake design reviews, and support compliance with UK fire safety legislation.The Lead Fire EngineerA degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering disciplineIdeally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in fire safety engineeringIdeally Chartered or working towards chartership (MIFireE or AIFireE preferred)Basic project management experienceProven ability to apply ADB, BS 9999 and BS 9991 in practiceSkilled in producing detailed strategy reports and advising multi-disciplinary design teamsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, quality-driven and enthusiastic about mentoring othersIn Return?£60,000 – £70,000Twice-yearly bonus schemeHybrid working and flexible 8-hour working day (between 7am-8pm)Trialling a 9-day fortnight – every other Friday off33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Company pension (5% employer contribution)Paid professional memberships and CPD supportPrivate Healthcare and Employee Assistance ProgrammeWellbeing incentives and employee referral bonusIf you are a Fire Engineer considering your career opportunities, please contact Stuart Miller at Brandon James for more information about this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
