The post holder will work within the Wrexham and Flintshire Children's Immunisation Team, based at Saltney Health Clinic. The team offers and delivers the immunisation programme to school‑aged children in various community settings. This position is 15 hours per week, Band 2, in an Admin and Clerical role supporting the delivery of the nasal flu programme. The Immunisation Team is a small, highly motivated group committed to offering immunisations to all children. The team is integrated within the School Nursing Teams and works effectively together in the delivery of high‑level care, contributing to the public health agenda and promoting vaccine uptake to protect the population. Main duties of the job To work as a team member, supporting the clinical staff with the delivery of the vaccination programme to school‑aged children. The post may include travelling between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire, but will predominantly be based in Saltney Clinic. Speaking Welsh is desirable. The team delivers the nasal flu programme and all high‑school vaccinations (HPV, DTP, Men ACWY and MMR).
