We provide voice, data, and mobile solutions to businesses across the UK, Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region, andwe’reexpanding rapidly to bring digital automation and Gamma-powered services to SMEs through a growing network of channel partners.Who are we looking for?We are looking for a hands-on analytical Group Accountant to:Oversee the Group’s monthly close, with a particular focus on analysing and understanding the main components of the Group balance sheet and then partnering with the relevant teams across finance to drive improvements and strengthen controlRealise the benefits of the Group’s recently implemented OneStream application by leading improvement in the close processPartner with the Group’s business units in the UK, Germany,Netherlandsand Spain on activities including month end close, submissions to support the Group’s external reporting requirements, acquisitionintegrationand statutory accounts.What will you be doing day-to-day?Overseeing the Group’s month end close including the quality of the monthly reporting in OneStream and effective operation of the relevant controlsAnalysing the Group’s balance sheet and cash flow with a specific focus on understanding and challenging the main components of the balance sheet to ensure that they are accounted for correctly and consistently.Working with the Group FP&A and Treasury teams to understand how the balance sheet drives working capital movements and cash conversion toidentifytrends which willimpactHalf Year and Full Year externally reported KPIsPreparing Group balance sheet and cash flow commentary for monthly Board reporting packIdentifyingand implementing process improvement to maximise the benefits of the Group’s recently implemented OneStream application and deliver a more efficient, consistent,accurateandtimelyclosePartnering with the UK,Germanand Dutch financial controllers on the delivery of the monthly results, consistency with Group accounting requirements, including lease accounting and capitalised development costs, and statutory accounting requirementsSupporting the Group Financial Reporting Manager to produce the Group’s external reporting, including the Annual Report and Accounts and the Interim Financial Statements, in line with UK listed company requirements with specific responsibility for cashflow, balance sheet, segmental reporting, employee, PPE and working capital disclosures and associated audit enquiries.Overseeing the integration ofacquiredbusinesses into the Group’s monthly close process and supportingacquiredbusiness in aligning to the Group’s accounting requirements.WhatYou’llNeedRecognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA), ideally with a practice background in a top 6 firm, and at least two years post qualified experienceExcellent analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to business partnerAbility to handle multiple priorities simultaneously with high quality resultsProactive approach to self-developmentDesire to continuously improve areas of responsibilityExperience of IFRSExperience in the preparation of listed Group financial statements an advantage.Knowledge of OneStream and Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be helpful but not essential.We move fast with a start-up mindset, but we have the stability of a leading European business.
