Secondary School Teacher

CER are currently recruiting Secondary School teachers to cover a variety of day to day and long‑term appointments in partnership with schools in Rotherham. As a cover teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work across a wide variety of schools, gaining valuable experience or trying new settings to find your dream job. You will be contributing to our supportive and inclusive school community and make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students. Strong behaviour management and maintain high standards in line with school policies. Adapt to different school environments showing a flexibility and resilience. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the English curriculum. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Further Education qualification (QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Previous experience teaching in a UK based school is essential for this role and references will need to be submitted. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
