Your Role as a Material Planner As a Material Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials to meet demand. Your key responsibilities will include: Reviewing materials planning panels daily to align supply with demand. Releasing new purchase orders for whole goods to meet delivery timelines. Managing supplier order boards, updating planning systems, and processing purchase order changes. Providing accurate updates to customer order management teams. Collaborating in end‑to‑end planning meetings and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Additional Responsibilities Aligning supply plans with demand plans to optimise inventory levels. Monitoring abnormal demand signals and stock levels to adjust plans accordingly. Running simulations to analyse planning parameter changes and presenting findings to stakeholders. Be involved in the active H&S process endorsement and practice promotion. Contributing to quality, safety, and process improvement projects. What Our Client Is Looking For Our client values individuals who bring expertise and passion to their work. The ideal candidate will have: 3‑5 years of relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or inventory control. Proficiency in materials planning systems and tools such as Excel, Access, or TOAD. Strong competencies in communication, results‑driven approaches, and managing complexity. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialised skills obtained through education, training, or on‑the‑job experience in an equivalent field such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.
