We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN to join our team at Pioneer House High School. Pioneer House High School is a special school in Northern Moor providing education for pupils aged 11–19 with significant additional needs. We are proud of our strong vocational focus, supporting students to develop skills and confidence to progress into supported or independent employment, further education, internships, or apprenticeships.We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 1 (SEN) to join our experienced team, supporting pupils across the school in achieving their full potential.This is a permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £21,662 and the full-time equivalent is £25,185 Grade 3. This role is to start as soon as pre-employment checks are complete.About The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN, you will work under the supervision of teaching staff and the senior leadership team to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and development.
