OverviewAs an Electrical Design Engineer at Primech Building Services, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of electrical systems for a broad range of projects, including educational, commercial buildings.ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will involve creating detailed electrical designs, performing calculations, and developing specifications that meet industry standards and project requirements.You will collaborate closely with the Design Manager and be expected to deliver high-quality designs that are ready for internal review.Key tasks include reviewing design contracts, producing MEP designs, monitoring drawing production timelines, and ensuring technical accuracy and consistency.Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive design documentation and facilitating communication with internal and external project teams to ensure successful project delivery.Your role may also involve conducting site surveys and creating energy modelling assessments and reports as required.RequirementsA degree in Building Services Engineering or an equivalent qualificationPrevious experience in the Building Services industry, particularly in electrical designProficient understanding of electrical engineering principles and the technical aspects of designExperience with design software, such as Revit, and AutoCADStrong interest in sustainable design practices and energy efficiencyFamiliarity with current Building Regulations and industry standardsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clientsA valid UK driving licenseBenefitsOngoing career development plan, including the opportunity to grow with Primech during its rapid rate of expansionCompany PensionTraining opportunities21 Days Holiday plus Bank HolidaysTeam Building #J-18808-Ljbffr
