Robertson Ward is a 20 bedded ward. Consultant lead specialist neurological rehabilitation in-patient ward. We provide multidisciplinary rehabilitation for patients with complex disabilities which are neurological in origin, including conditions such as Stroke. Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury. Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and Spinal cord Injures.We are an adult service providing rehabilitation to individuals aged range 16 to 64. However, older patients than 64 are now accepted if considered appropriate following the team's assessment.We are seeking a motivated, caring, and dynamic rehabilitation nurse with experience in stroke to apply for this exciting opportunity to work in our team.The rehabilitation Nurse will work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team consisting of Consultants and Doctors, matrons, ward Manager, Staff Nurses Healthcare assistant, Therapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Psychologists and Domestics staff.The rehabilitation Nurse will assist the Ward manager to provide nursing care to, and support recovery of patients to meet their rehabilitation goals, focusing on the needs of the patients rather than the illness or condition.
