Solicitor - Private Client (Wills, Probate & Estate Planning) - Cardiff - 1-3 Years PQE Location: Cardiff (Hybrid) Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) A thriving, award‑winning law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 1‑3 years' post‑qualification experience to join its growing Private Client Department in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload, contribute to business development, and play a key role in expanding the department. The Role Taking instructions and drafting Wills. Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney. Managing all aspects of probate and estate administration. Advising clients with excellent communication and client care skills. Drafting legal documents and using case management systems effectively. Applying a commercial approach to billing, time‑recording, and reporting. Supporting the growth of the department through business development initiatives. Candidate Requirements 1‑3 years PQE in Private Client law. Experience handling a large caseload with minimal supervision. Strong technical and drafting skills. Excellent client care and interpersonal abilities. A proactive, can‑do outlook and ability to work collaboratively. Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Benefits Above market rate salary (depending on experience).
