You’ll be part of a high-potential business that combines Kimberly-Clark’s iconic brands and commercial excellence with Suzano’s industrial and sustainability leadership.Position PurposeResponsibilities: Responsible for setting up and managing the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statement closing and global consolidation processes for a newly created JV that is currently Kimberly Clark’s International Family Care & Professional (IFP) segment. This role is part of a newly created team responsible for the consolidation and financial reporting under both US GAAP and IFRS of a newly created Joint Venture which is currently part of Kimberly Clark. Once the team is set up and begins operating, the role will be responsible for leading various projects including implementation of new accounting standards and processes, changes to reporting requirements due to organisational changes, system implementations, coordination with and providing guidance to Global Business Services’ (GBS) Management Information Delivery (MID) and Accounting / Reporting teams, and other projects as assigned.CustomersKey customers for this position are the Director, Financial Reporting, JV Controller, JV CFO, GBS Director, Tax and JV board members.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up for the delivery of the new JV’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation requirements including creating new processes, procedures and set up of HFMLead the delivery of the JV’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation requirements.Ensure accurate, complete, and timely analysis and reporting to internal and external customers for consolidated financial results on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and as-requested basisDevelop and maintain a robust understanding of the underlying accounting systems and their interface with the HFM consolidation system including providing regular education to the team and business partners.Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, adjust to changing conditions, and / or improve internal controls.Initiate and lead key projects that support the strategic direction of the JV and its partnersConduct accounting research and provide guidance on technical accounting matters and application of the Corporate Financial Instructions (“CFIs”) to assist the JV in its reporting responsibilities.Coordinate the preparation, review, and dissemination of key reports to internal and external customersMaintain comprehensive process documentation and policies to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and reliability of the established financial controls.Provide a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to drive financial statement analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations.Provide project leadership to accounting and reporting related initiatives (e.g., adoption of new accounting standards, accounting for acquisitions and divestitures), and other initiatives of the Controller’s OfficeAbout UsHuggies®. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:10+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience in global multinational corporations is necessary for this position.Ability to assist in the set up of a new department – entrepreneurial mindsetBroad and expert knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley as well as US GAAP and IFRSHave a continuous improvement mindset to further the company’s program of driving efficiency throughout the financial reporting and consolidation process as well as an adaptable approach to effectively execute through change.“Big 4” accounting firm and US GAAP and IFRS experienceStrong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities / competing time demands and strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective communications and presentations.Possess a think customer orientation to manage leaders’ and auditors’ expectations, and a continuous improvement mindset to further the company’s program of driving efficiency throughout the reporting process.Demonstrate the ability to build trust with key customers and stakeholders and a desire to broaden his / her exposure and knowledge beyond the corporate office.Degree educated with ACA from a big four firm.Knowledge of SAP and HFM requiredTotal BenefitsWe offer competitive pay and benefits to employees and reward excellence and performance.
