Join to apply for the Occupational Therapist role at Harrow CouncilOverviewThe London Borough of Harrow is looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide a high‑quality and effective occupational therapy service for adults and children that responds to the needs of people, their carers and families in a timely manner. This includes providing preventative support to promote independence and responsibility, and assessing, developing, reviewing and monitoring individual care plans in relation to adaptations, equipment and moving and handling for independent living.All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act 2014 and reflect a strengths‑based approach.As part of the role, the post holder will be required to travel regularly to peripheral equipment stores to collect, deliver, fit and assess residents with low‑level equipment in their own homes.
