TP Tutors is looking for a supportive and enthusiastic tutor to work with young learners in Alnwick (NE66) who need a focused, personalised approach to their Maths and English studies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping students who may have fallen behind, lost confidence, or require a quieter, structured learning environment. You’ll be delivering one-to-one sessions that make a real difference to their progress and wellbeing. The work takes place face-to-face, either at the pupil’s home or at an agreed local venue during school hours. What you’ll be doing Planning and delivering tailored Maths and English sessions Breaking down tricky concepts into accessible steps Creating a calm, encouraging learning atmosphere Monitoring and reporting progress to our team What we’re looking for Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English A patient, child-centred approach An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) What we offer £25–£30 per hour (PAYE) Flexible working hours Ongoing support from the TP Tutors team The chance to make a genuine, long-term impact If you want to help learners move forward with confidence in Alnwick (NE66), we’d be happy to welcome you to the team.
