IPS (Part of the Culina Group) works with some of the best known brands and provides cost effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions within the UK.At Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive… A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspiredJob DescriptionThe Operations Manager will manage and facilitate improvements in Health and Safety, Operational Performance, Technical Compliance and Environmental Standards alongside acting as a deputy for the General Manager.Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.Key Duties of Operations Manager:Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations.Provide a service based on Reliability, Quality and Repeatability, which is both measurable and auditable.Liaise with all factory functions to support and resolve operational day to day issues and plan to prevent re-occurrence and deliver a sustainable operation.Develop and adopt agreed standardised ways of working and best practises across the factory.Support Management team in implementing standardised systems across the factory.Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.Challenge the ways of working and deliver through innovation cost savings. Monitor, control and minimise waste.Ensure best practise is developed and used, constantly seeking improvements to layout, efficiency and stock integrity.Reviewing staffing levels by function and building robust succession plans to maintain the service.Identify and mentor the FLM's and Key Players of the future. Create strength in depth through the development of the teams.
