Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our estates team at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.Key activitiesReporting to the Technical Services ManagerAct as Lead Technician for the site providing a thorough understanding of mechanical ventilation building services installation and maintenance techniques, including Medical Gas and F Gas.Apply trade skills and experience, including one to one training to members of the team.Ensure the satisfactory completion of statutory obligations and the completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works, all within the SLA and KPIs applied to site.To be an Authorised Person for up to three disciplines.Carry out maintenance / repair on mechanical ventilation services to plant and equipment across the site, including supervising both in-house staff and contractorsCarry out refurbishments and new works across the site all within KPI and SLA targetsWorking 40 hours per week, from 8am to 5pm with a one hour unpaid break, Monday to FridaySkills, qualifications & experienceMust hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and / or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience;Must have a proven track record within maintenance / hard servicesMust be strongly Client focused and able to take ownership of projectsMust have good IT skills with experience in the use of CAFM systems, word and excelSubject to a DBS CheckOur excellent benefits package includes :Generous holiday allowanceCompany share scheme2 paid volunteering days a yearCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEmployee assistance programmeWho are we?EQUANS is a world leader in energy services with nearly , employees working in more than 50 countries, with an annual turnover of over 17 billion euros.In the UK & Ireland, EQUANS is a provider of technical, FM, regeneration and energy services with specialist capabilities in smart buildings, green mobility, district & embedded energy and decentralised renewables.EQUANS 13, UK & Ireland employees combine these activities to help businesses, public sector organisations and government to embrace the energy transition towards net zero, and also the digital & industrial transitions that are redesigning the way we move, work and live.EQUANS is a Bouygues group company.Whats next?If this role is of interest to you, please click below to register, apply, and track your progress A member of our Resourcing Team will review your application and be in touch.At Equans were committed to delivering a culture where everyones voice is heard and supported.
