Site Engineer – Major Structural Steel Build (Contract)
Location: Leeds
Start Date: 24th November
Duration: 2–3 Months
Hours: 50–56 hours per week (Mon–Fri)
PAYE Day Rate: £26.78 p/h + £3.22 holiday pay = £30.00 per hour
The Opportunity
Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery on a live new-build Distribution Centre in Leeds. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to an Engineer with a demonstrable background working on structural steel heavy project, and who enjoys being out on the ground.
You’ll be joining an active programme of works and will play a key role in ensuring quality, accuracy and programme alignment on critical structural packages.
What You Will Be Doing
*
Setting out and survey duties for steel structure and terracing works
*
Working closely with Site Management and subcontractors to ensure build accuracy
*
Quality checks against design/specification and assisting with ITPs and sign-offs
*
Producing as-built information and updating records using AutoCAD
*
Providing technical support on site to supervisors and trades
*
Liaising with design and temporary works where required
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience as a Site Engineer on structural steel builds
*
Confident working in a hands-on setting out role (not purely coordination)
*
Competent using AutoCAD
*
Own EDM/kit is beneficial but can be provided if required
*
CSCS card essential
*
Ability to hit the ground running on a live site
