Goods Inwards Stores / Stock Controller Location: Hythe, KentJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-13:00) A long-established UK manufacturing business based in Hythe is seeking a Goods Inwards Stores / Stock Controller to join their team. This company has over 50 years' experience producing high-specification engineered components and is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. The Role Accurately receiving sub-contracted orders and general consumables Distributing purchased items across the site Helping maintain accurate stock levels for work in progress and bought-in components Supporting production cells with stock record accuracy Assisting with despatch of finished goods when required Covering raw material stores during holidays Occasional delivery driving duties About You A full, current UK driving licence Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Good computer literacy, ideally with experience in stock control systems Excellent attention to detail and adaptability A methodical, flexible approach to workGood communication skills and a willingness to learn Previous experience in a similar stores, stock control or warehouse role is beneficial. Experience with forklifts or side loaders is an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
