Investment Banking - Vice President, Innovation Economy M&A - LondonLONDON, LONDON, United KingdomJob InformationJob Identification 210584206Job Category Client ManagementBusiness Unit Commercial & Investment BankPosting Date 10/21/2025, 07:30 PMLocations 25 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London, Greater London, E14 5JP, GBJob Schedule Full timeJob DescriptionThe Innovation Economy M&A team works with innovative, high growth companies in the Technology space across all regions in EMEA.As a Vice President (VP) on the EMEA Innovation Economy M&A team, you will play a critical role in originating and executing these assignments, partnering closely with industry and country coverage teams, and other product teams within the Investment Bank.Job responsibilitiesDrive execution of transactions from launch to signing, including preparation of marketing materials, financial analysis, due diligence review and preparation of other transaction materials, working closely both with internal teams and external stakeholdersOversee deal teams in performing detailed valuation analyses (including DCF, LBO, trading and transaction comparables) and merger consequences analysesAct as primary day-to-day point of contact with clients, counterparties and other third-party advisors throughout transaction processDrive preparation of materials for client presentations, in partnership with industry and country coverage teamsMentor, supervise and train junior team membersPerform a variety of tasks, including opportunities to take on significant responsibility due to the team’s high deal flow and flat hierarchical structureMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, transaction developments and regulatory changes affecting the technology and life sciences sectorRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsPrior investment banking experience at VP level including significant M&A experienceOutstanding financial analysis and modelling skills, and overall corporate finance proficiencyStrong expertise in crafting impactful marketing materialsDetail-oriented, proactive with strong project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to teach and mentor junior team membersAbility to perform under pressure and deliver to tight deadlinesPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsPrior Technology and / or Mid-Market Investment Banking M&A experienceProficiency in a European language (in addition to English)About UsJ.P.
