Pay: £29,000.00-£37,612.69 per year Job Description: Therapeutic Support Practitioner Location: Derby Salary: £14.50 per hour plus £65 sleep. £800 Annual Bonus Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Flexible rota (including sleep-ins of 8 per month) Why This Role Matters Do you want a career where every day counts? Using a trauma-informed approach (PACE model), you’ll help them feel safe, valued, and ready to thrive. What You’ll Do Deliver exceptional care tailored to individual needs. Support education, activities, and personal development. Be a positive role model and advocate for well-being. Maintain accurate records and incident reports. Work collaboratively with families and professionals. Carry out household tasks and safety checks. Apply safeguarding principles at all times. About the Home You’ll be working in a 6-bed residential home for children and young people aged 10 to 17 with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD). Some of the children are non-verbal, so you’ll play a key role in supporting communication and building trust. Resilient, self-motivated, and enthusiastic. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Flexibility for shifts and sleep-ins. Experience in residential childcare or similar (desirable).
