We are looking for a talented and highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Flexera FlexNet Management suite to join our community of tech experts and to lead our Flexera Engineering Team. Proven significant experience of designing, implementing and managing a Flexera on‑premise installation including agent rollout and integrations with multiple technologies including Kubernetes deployment in AKS and EKS. Evidence a strong track record in designing and delivering infrastructure services and solutions, working within a hybrid server estate including multiple Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, multiple Unix or Linux distributions and containerised platforms, to meet strategic plans and roadmaps. Demonstrate significant experience in providing specialist technical support and assistance to projects ensuring definition and delivery of requisite non‑functional requirements to architectural and roadmap developments. Exhibit significant experience managing, supporting and mentoring the development of team members to successfully deliver high quality outcomes that meet the customers' needs and provides value for money. Be able to show significant demonstrable experience of using multiple scripting languages across different operating systems including the deployment of Infrastructure as Code. Demonstrate significant experience of effectively communicating at different levels, across support and engineering, business users, architecture and suppliers. You and your role We're looking for someone who's passionate about tech and ready to take the lead in shaping how we monitor and manage the performance of our IT systems. You'll be part of the Enterprise Tooling Team, working on tools that keep our services running smoothly for millions of people across the UK. In this role, you'll be the go‑to expert for Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite, designing and delivering new services, keeping everything stable and resilient, and helping us get the most out of our infrastructure. You'll lead a small team, work closely with other engineers and stakeholders, and make sure our monitoring tools are accurate, reliable and future‑ready. We're after someone who knows their way around cloud platforms, containers and infrastructure as code. If you've rolled out Flexera One agents across different environments and can navigate Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes with confidence this is the role for you. Details. Wages. Perks. Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model – you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub. Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £68,517 Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97% (worth over £16,000 per year). Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time. You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi‑time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
