The Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Warehouse AV Technician who will be warehouse based. Ideal candidates should have technical experience and knowledge in AV. The right candidate should be ambitious and is able to use own initiative to solve problems and learn about new technology. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. Your Duties Co-ordinate the workflows for the preparation of equipment Ensure all equipment is returned on time and condition is checked and verified with appropriate corresponding paper work Keeping warehouse clean Repairing of equipment Stock check Loading and unloading Vans Highlight shortages using the company policies Liaise with Managers to ensure the strategic requirements of the business are achieved Accurately maintain the company’s stock control system by ensuring accurate and timely input To manage to completion the Portable Appliance Testing of all owned equipment to The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 Requirements Previous experience in a similar role in an AV warehouse is desireable Experience in managing teams A good level of numeracy and excellent attention to detail Must live within easy commute of our warehouse (SE15 Area) You should be able to display that you regularly use your own initiative. A good positive and happy attitude as well as a team player. Ability to work long hours on events when required due to the nature of the events industry. Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly.
