Estates and Facilities Division Lead This role is a key leader in the Estates and Facilities Division. The post holder is to manage all aspects of operational estates assets and is professionally responsible for the complete management and performance monitoring of Hard FM Services, including the Retained Estates buildings at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Peterborough City Hospital, and Stamford and Rutland Hospital. Key Responsibilities Performance and leadership within Hard FM, ensuring safety for patients, colleagues and visitors. Statutory and regulatory compliance: Fire Safety management, Non‑clinical Health & Safety, asbestos management, water hygiene (Legionella and Pseudomonas control), building, electrical & mechanical services (trust‑wide lead for HVAC monitoring and reporting, medical gas services), and financial management. Full financial control of Estates minor works and Estates SLA agreements, property inspections, and management of estate staff, external consultants, and contractors. Monitor contracted out services: ensuring compliance with statutory standards, service contract schedules, monitoring and reporting standards, KPIs, sustainability agenda, and energy performance (including Combined Cooling Heating and Power contract where applicable). Maintain effective working relationships across clinical services and corporate divisions within the Trust and with external organisations. Adhere to standing financial instructions, ensure value for money on tenders and purchases, and lead on preparing business cases for EFM capital funding. Support strategic estate plans for reconfiguration and developments within the hospital estate.
