Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets to support decision‑making processes. Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy. Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures in compliance with organisational policies. Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Collaborate with company accountant to ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting. Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting future financial needs. Skills Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes. Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to analyse financial data accurately and efficiently. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
