Lecturer in Accounting & Finance - Greenford Department: Academic/Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) Location: London, Greenford Type of Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) – sponsorship not offered. The Role: We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. Responsibilities: All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met. Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate. Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials. Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Working towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You: Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records. Able to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable: Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
