What you'll be challenged to do:

Gannett Fleming TranSystems is looking for an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Fife, Washington office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and model building and site power systems.
• Design and model building and site lighting systems.
• Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment.
• Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
• Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.
• Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review.
• Perform site visits and write field reports.
• Assist project managers to troubleshoot design and construction challenges.

What you bring to our firm:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Authorization to work in the United States (required)
• Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

What we'd prefer for you to bring to our firm:

• Understanding of, and experience in, the A/E/C industry preferred
• Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Maryland, Connecticut, Ohio, Washington, or NY City, Gannett Fleming TranSystems is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,000-$95,000 annually.
