The Role As a Family Support Worker, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide timely and effective support to children, young people, and families. You will use evidence-based interventions to promote positive change, safeguard welfare, and help families achieve better outcomes. This temporary role is to cover a secondment and offers the opportunity to contribute to Birmingham Children’s Trust’s ongoing success. Key Responsibilities Act as lead professional for an allocated caseload of children and families Undertake assessments and develop effective multi-agency support plans Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote welfare and positive change Maintain accurate case records and reports to professional standards Convene and chair case planning and review meetings where appropriate Engage families through persistent outreach, promoting participation in assessments and plans Work collaboratively with safeguarding colleagues and multi-agency partners Contribute to performance monitoring and service development initiatives Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion Candidate Requirements Experience working with children, young people, and families in a support role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and prioritise a complex caseload Skilled in assessment, planning, and delivering interventions Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal office hours when required DBS check required #J-18808-Ljbffr
