Mentor Programmer Lead - Volunteer Join digilearning as a Mentor Programmer Lead to shape the next generation of programmers and digital innovators. As a Mentor Programmer at Digital Learning Ongoing, you will play a pivotal role in guiding talent aged 16‑30, providing mentorship and ensuring they develop essential programming skills and thrive in the digital age. What you will be doing Mentor and support young talent in career development methodologies and best practices. Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, including workshops on mentoring. Provide personalized feedback and constructive criticism to help learners overcome challenges and improve their proficiency. Collaborate with the curriculum team to create and update educational materials and resources. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment encouraging collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Track and monitor the progress of mentees, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to address gaps. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and knowledge‑sharing sessions. What we’re looking for No degree required. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development, programming, or related roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or teaching programming concepts. Passion for technology, education, and empowering others to succeed in the digital age. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with digital learning platforms, online resources, and tools is a plus. Experience with project management, curriculum development, or instructional design desirable but not required.
