Security Officer Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services Join to apply for the Security Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. Job Overview This contract-based position requires working a 9‑week rolling rota, 5 days per week (8‑9 hour shifts), to provide a 42‑hour per week security service. Duties involve protecting customers’ property, people and assets, following Assignment Instructions, meeting or exceeding KPI/ SLA targets, and maintaining continuous training and professional development. Responsibilities Work a 9‑week rolling rota, 5 days out of 7, 8‑9 hour shifts for a 42‑hour weekly contract. Protect our customer’s property, people and assets in accordance with the published Assignment Instructions. Deliver outcomes that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement to maintain the contract. Undertake continuous training and self‑development as directed by the Security Account Manager. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, UK law and statutory legislation, including front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV SIA licence. Follow instructions and procedures appropriately, working systematically and methodically. Report Health & Safety hazards, threats or incidents immediately, complete accurate incident reports, and manage check calls as scheduled. Maintain professional conduct during challenging situations and communicate with the Emergency Services and Communication Centre when required.
