Investment Solutions Portfolio Manager, Assistant Vice President – State Street Investment Management Join State Street’s Investment Solutions Group (ISG), a multi‑asset‑class investment team that serves institutional clients worldwide. The ISG, with offices in Boston, London, Sydney, Dublin, Kraków and five other investment centers, develops asset‑class spanning products and services to help clients achieve diverse goals. The Portfolio Manager will be a key addition to the ISG and will manage an existing book of portfolios, help develop new solutions for the EMEA marketplace, and collaborate across global teams. Key responsibilities include day‑to‑day portfolio monitoring, cash‑flow management, rebalancing, delivering performance objectives, interacting with internal stakeholders and, from time to time, clients. The role also involves ongoing research, process improvements, system enhancements, and product development. The position is based in London and will report to the EMEA head of the Investment Solutions Group. A minimum presence in the office is required; the candidate is expected to work 3 business days per week in the company’s office. Role Responsibilities Multi‑asset class portfolio management, including setting strategic and tactical asset allocation policy, selecting best‑in‑class investment vehicles, and allocating across active and index investment strategies. Portfolio monitoring and management activities on exposure, performance and risk, acting as primary portfolio manager and backup manager. Client engagement, maintaining and driving new business, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience interacting with clients during portfolio reviews. Fully integrated in the EMEA teams, interacting closely with members located in EMEA and globally. Follow the FCA certification regime. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of investment management experience. BA/BS required; Advanced Degree / CFA / CAIA / FRM or progress towards, will be preferred. Pre-existing practice of AI tools such as Microsoft Co‑Pilot or equivalent. Strong knowledge of financial assets, portfolio construction, risk management, and quantitative investment methods. Familiarity with optimization tools and financial software. Good presentation and business writing skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to execute independently and maintain a strong team orientation. Proactive and with a desire to continue to learn and grow professionally.
