This is an opportunity to work with an experienced structural engineer in County Tyrone.Sean Jordan Engineering can take a project from the Architect/Engineers\' designs and produce detailed fabrication drawings, structural steelwork fabrication, and erection for projects ranging from simple portal frame buildings to large-scale industrial structures. We have carried out many structural steel projects throughout Ireland and have successfully worked with all the leading consulting engineers in Northern Ireland.Apply NOWJob Type: We are flexible to discuss working hours and can accommodate both full time and part time hours which can be discussed upon application.Schedule: Flexible Your salary will depend on the level of experience and expertise you bring to usExcellent Hourly Rates and negotiableOvertime PayWorkwear and tools suppliedSupplemental pay types: Loyalty bonusCompany pensionOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceResponsibilitiesAs a structural engineer, you'll need to:Analyse configurations of the basic components of a structureCalculate the pressures, stresses, and strains that each component will experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakesConsider the strength of various materials, e.g. steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural designLiaise with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the constructionExamine structures at risk of collapse and advise how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structureMake drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for building contractorsWork with geotechnical engineers to investigate ground conditions and analyse results of soil sample and in situ testsLiaise with construction contractors to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally soundApply expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structuresUse computers and computer-aided design (CAD) technology for simulation purposesRequirementsMust be able to produce technical drawings based on rough specifications, sketches, and calculations from various personnel in the fieldMust be specialised in building / structural engineeringFor more information on the requirements of this role or any other information, please get in touch.Send your CV / Email us at: info@recruitmentpartnershipireland.co.ukWhatsApp/Call / Text: 07870588857Your salary will depend on the level of experience and expertise you bring to usExcellent Hourly Rates and negotiableOvertime PayWorkwear and tools suppliedSupplemental pay types: Loyalty bonusCompany pensionOn-site parkingPrivate medical insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
