Transport Manager (Days) – Andover GXO is recruiting a Transport Manager (Days) to join our team on a Coop contract at the Andover depot. You will coordinate transport operations, ensure full compliance with driver and vehicle legislation, and meet the needs of customers and business. You will also be required to hold an O‑License. The role is full‑time and permanent, with a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern (06:00 – 18:00). Pay, benefits and more Salary up to £44,772.00 per year and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day Plan and organise the transport schedules and operational work to meet all service‑level criteria. Recruit, train, and coach members of the transport team to improve performance and manage underperformance. Liaise with all departments and support services to provide a quality service against company and client standards. Promote safe working practices, achieving and sustaining high standards of H&S, hygiene, and security in the working environment. Maintain O‑License compliance. What you need to succeed at GXO Holder of an International Managers CPC (essential). Demonstrable experience in a similar role, managing a large multi‑temperature transport operation, preferably in a 3PL environment. Up‑to‑date knowledge of the Working Time Directive and all relevant transport legislation. Knowledge of Tacho‑Master and familiarity with Paragon (desirable).
