Advanced Practitioner in Ultrasound We are looking to join the Ultrasound team at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, serving the populations of Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding area. The main hospital site is based in Warwick, with smaller community hospitals in Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa. Role Overview Development of the Ultrasound department means we need Advanced Practitioners in Ultrasound to join our team. The successful candidate will rotate through all clinical areas and sites across the trust, working across three sites and participating in extended days and weekend sessions to improve service needs and patient flow. Responsibilities Carry out and independently report on Ultrasound examinations to a high standard and in a professional manner. Work across modalities including MSK, Gynae, General medical, Vascular and Paediatric scans. Support the practical and clinical teaching of student sonographers. Qualifications Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Medical Ultrasound from a CASE accredited institution. HCPC / NMC registered or on the voluntary register of sonographers held by the Register of Clinical Technologists. Post Graduate qualification in Ultrasound recognised by an accredited university in the modalities qualified. Desired Experience Experience within MSK, Gynae, General medical, Vascular and Paediatric scans (advantageous but training will be supported).
