Deputy Home Manager Childrens Residential at CareTech Location: Selby Contract: Full Time (Permanent) Working hours per week: 40 Salary: £15.29 per hour Closing Date: Thursday 1 January 2026 Main Purpose Of The Job Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose. Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager. Support and manage the staff to meet the needs of children and young people. Conduct direct work with children and young people as appropriate. Act as responsible person for managing child protection concerns and complaints. Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. Offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with care Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Working towards or holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare. Current driving license. Experience 1 year’s relevant supervisory experience in the care sector. Benefits Competitive salary. Full enhanced children’s and adults DBS paid by Cambian.
