Customer Team Leader Location: Newton Road, Wellingborough, NN29 7QNPay: £13.99 per hourContract: 18 hours per week + regular overtime, part time, permanent.Working pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. What you’ll do Provide friendly and thoughtful service, giving customers a welcoming, helpful experience and handling challenging situations. Co‑achieve and coach the team, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued and respected. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to give shoppers a great experience. Deputise for the Store Manager when required and deliver a range of HR processes. Lead the introduction of new products and services, working closely with the team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback. Build relationships and engage with the local community, supporting the Store Manager’s delivery of the local Co‑op community plan. This job would suit people who have A genuine care for the needs of customers and members. The ability to strike a balance between leading and supporting your team while working alongside them on the shop floor. Great people skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
