You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of risk management in Scotland, influencing client strategy, internal capability, and market positioning.ResponsibilitiesLeading/working in project delivery and Turner & Townsend business operations, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Lead:Manage and delegate activities of the Risk Management team on complex projects or programmes.Communication with Senior Management / Stakeholders to deliver updates.Accountable for:Briefing the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.Developing and maintaining leadership relationships with interfacing disciplines.Line management activities including career development and performance management.Drive:Continuous improvement in Risk Management (and interfacing disciplines) processes to create efficiency and increasing benefits to our clients.The implementation, embedding and roll-out of any identified changes to Risk Management processes.Promote:The benefits and requirements of Risk Management within the project and programme team.Provide:Subject Matter Expertise.Expert analysis (e.g. QCRA, QSRA etc.) to relevant stakeholders and senior management, supporting effective decision making.Training and coaching to clients and less experienced team members on Risk Management processes and practices.Support:The management of the risk management team and associated business operation activitiesTurner & Townsend's recruitment activities to grow and develop the project controls capability.The national and regional Risk Management communities including Community of Practice.Skills and BehavioursYou anticipate future challenges and opportunities for clients.
