This is a key appointment within the firm and offers a clear pathway for progression to Personal Tax Manager, along with the opportunity to expand into specialist client work depending on the candidate’s ambition and capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful individual will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance requirements are met while delivering a high-quality, client-focused service. The role will involve :Preparation and review of personal tax returns for a range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, directors, landlords, and sole tradersManaging compliance deadlines and liaising with clients regarding their tax affairsProviding advice on personal tax planning opportunities where applicableHandling HMRC correspondence and enquiriesSupporting junior team members where requiredIdentifying opportunities to add value to clients through additional advisory or planning workWorking closely with the Partners and senior team on client management and practice development initiativesRequirementsATT qualifiedStrong recent experience in a personal tax role, ideally within an accountancy practiceComfortable managing a portfolio independently and meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficientlyCommitment to professional growth and delivering exceptional serviceExperience with ad hoc tax planning or advisory workExposure to software such as CCH, IRIS, or similar #J-18808-Ljbffr
