Conveniently positioned next to the ICU tower, a spacious technologist suite and patient prep area are available to streamline your workflow and patient interactions. Our facility’s recent upgrade to a SPECT CT in the Nuclear Medicine Department enriches your diagnostic toolkit, especially valuable if you bring expertise in echocardiography and nuclear medicine. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality diagnostic care using a broad spectrum of modalities and non‑vascular interventional procedures. Seamlessly integrate with peripheral hospitals and imaging clinics via the PACS system for cohesive workflow and immediate patient data access. Utilize Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T wide bore MRI and the upgraded SPECT CT for detailed imaging. Participate in teaching and mentorship, including CME sessions and bedside teaching with residents and students. Lead initiatives in Physician Quality Improvement (PQI) supported by Doctors of BC. Compensation Estimated remuneration is competitive through a fee‑for‑service payment structure, plus MOCAP level 1. Benefits and Incentives Vacation Leave with flexible scheduling, eligibility for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including Retention Premium 14%, Retention Flat Fee $21,696, relocation funding ($9,000 within BC, $12,000 within Canada, $15,000 outside Canada), recruitment incentive $20,000 prorated for less than full time. Other benefits: RCME payments ($1,800 up to 2 years, $4,800 during 3rd and 4th year, $7,800 after 4 years) and Doctors of BC CME funds. Rural incentives subject to change and confirmed at offer time.
