Job Overview The Debt, Capital & Treasury Advisory team is an integral part of Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory practice, providing independent advice and world‑class execution across the full spectrum of debt, capital and treasury areas through the firm’s global network. Deloitte’s Treasury Advisory team is one of the leading teams in the UK and is expanding to work alongside Corporate Treasury and Private Equity teams in an advisory capacity, addressing complex financial and operational challenges. The role is suitable for individuals with a treasury background who are eager to develop further, contribute to a growing team and shape our market‑leading position. Responsibilities Lead provision of corporate finance transaction‑related advice, including preparing due diligence reports, management presentations, working capital reports and communication with private equity and corporate clients. Provide input to Treasury strategic advice related to cash, interest‑rate risk, commodity, FX risk management and policies. Research industries and companies for deal origination and transaction analysis. Advise and assist companies with the implementation of operational aspects of cash management and treasury transformation projects. Drive marketing and business development opportunities internally and externally, building and developing relationships. Support senior members of the team in identifying opportunities and preparing proposals to clients. Coach and develop junior talent working on projects. Work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team where contributions are recognised. Collaborate closely with the Debt Advisory and Transaction Services teams on complementary advisory services. Essential Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) or another relevant professional qualification or degree, such as CFA, AMCT, Master in Finance, with a good understanding of accounting principles as they relate to Treasury. Proven Corporate Treasury experience gained ideally within a large corporate Treasury or a consulting firm. Excellent numeracy skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data quickly. A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and the ability to establish effective working relationships. Perfect fluency in oral and written English. Ability to write structured reports that explain complex matters logically and understandably to non‑Treasury professionals. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully with clients and other professionals across the firm. Critical mindset with a natural desire to ask probing questions and explore challenges. Open mindset to perform a wide range of work as required to help a growing and busy team expand. Desire to work in an advisory environment and build a career in professional services. Desirable Qualifications Corporate finance transaction experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Hybrid Working Policy You will be based in London and work under a hybrid model, with the flexibility to work in the local office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites or remotely, depending on role requirements.
