From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Portable Fire Extinguisher Engineer specifically covering the North East region. Basic Salary Competitive (OTE between £38,000-£40,000 Including Basic Salary, Overtime, Travel Time & Commission) Pension, Life Assurance & much more. - Please see our generous remuneration packages below Marlowe Fire & Security's Fire Extinguisher Technicians Provide exceptional service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hose reels, and fire suppression systems for a diverse range of local clients Install, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, and kitchen fire suppression systems Adhere to current industry standards and customer specifications Plan and conduct service visits efficiently to meet customer needs Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Manage equipment and vehicle stock effectively Contribute to a professional team environment while maintaining high service standards Requirements Who We're Looking For Proven experience in the maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers is essential Relevant qualifications such as BAFE, FETA, or an equivalent certification Background in mechanical fire service or related technical fields Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Capable of working independently and confidently diagnosing and resolving issues Willingness to travel as required and participate in ongoing training and development Experience with additional mechanical fire systems is highly advantageous A valid driver's licence is required Benefits Our Commitment to Attracting, Rewarding & Retaining Talent Competitive basic salary, plus paid travel time, commission, and overtime opportunities Additional southern weighting allowance Royal London pension for long-term financial security Life assurance at 4x your annual salary Generous paid holidays plus bank holidays An additional day of holiday for each full year of service, up to 25 days A paid referral scheme offering up to £1,000 per successful referral, with no limit Mental health and well-being support Employee recognition scheme that rewards hard work and achievements Training, development, and genuine opportunities for progression A Little More About Marlowe Fire & Security Group We proudly operate across the nation, serving a wide range of industries in both commercial and domestic settings.
