Credit Control Manager | Liverpool | £45,000-50,000We are working with a dynamic and recognised business in Liverpool to recruit a Credit Control Manager role.In this role, you will take ownership of our credit control function as the business looks to strengthen and modernise their approach to credit management. You will review, implement and improve credit control processes, to ensure robust cash flow, minimise bad debt, and embed a strong credit culture across the business.As Credit Control Manager, you will:Lead and develop the team, providing clear direction, motivation and supportReview current credit control processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practice proceduresDevelop and embed a proactive credit control culture throughout the wider businessBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure credit management is fully integrated with operational and commercial teamsMaintain and develop relationships with key customers, handling escalated queries and negotiations where necessaryProduce regular aged debt reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting key risks and actionsSet clear targets and KPIs for the team to drive performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policiesYou must have:Proven experience in a senior credit control role, ideally within a fast paced or changing environmentA strong people person who can inspire, lead, and develop a teamDemonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvementsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsConfident negotiator, commercially aware, and resilient under pressureStrong analytical and reporting skills with great attention to detailWhat they can offer:The chance to shape and lead a critical function in a business committed to improvement and growthA supportive and collaborative working cultureA great line managerCompetitive salary (c£45-50k) with benefits including pension, 25 days holiday, healthcare and hybrid working/flexible working hoursOpportunity to make a real impact and develop your career with a leading Liverpool employerDirector - Part Qualified & Transactional FinanceCan't find the job you're looking for?
