The Directorate is also responsible for regeneration (where the programme is not housing led), enterprise, growth, capital projects and design work.
About the team
The Programme Management and Coordination Team sits at the centre of the Environment and Energy Unit.
As well as managing the functional operations of the unit - finance, programme management, supporting the Assistant Director – we manage the communications and correspondence for our suite of environmental programmes and policies, ensuring we deliver on the Mayor's 'greener' priorities for London.
About the role

This central role within the Environment and Energy Unit will develop and deliver a strategic stakeholder engagement and communications plan across a wide range of environmental policy areas.
Working within a complex network of stakeholders - including government bodies, businesses, NGOs, and community groups - you will ensure that policies resonate with and inspire Londoners.

You will also work with Mayoral teams to coordinate a strategic engagement and communications package for our work under the Mayor's commitment to a greener London for all, create a cohesive stakeholder engagement approach, and line manage the Communications Manager.
This is an opportunity to take the lead in shaping London's environmental future, ensuring that the Mayor's vision for a greener, more sustainable city is understood, supported, and championed across London.
What your day will look like
