We are looking for an experienced Head of Learning & Development to drive a high-impact L&D strategy, ensuring the highest standards of training quality and professional development across our organisation. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will be responsible for delivering leadership and management training, overseeing apprenticeships, embedding learning through data analysis, and managing key L&D projects from development to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and oversee a high-quality Leadership & Management Development Programme, ensuring our leaders are equipped to support and develop their teams effectively.
  • Manage and expand our apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they provide meaningful career progression and align with organisational needs.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of L&D projects, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and drive measurable improvements.
  • Analyse learning data and training outcomes to inform continuous improvement, ensuring training effectiveness and impact.
  • Oversee training compliance and quality assurance, embedding best practices and sector regulations.
  • Drive innovation in digital learning and blended training approaches to enhance accessibility and engagement.
What We're Looking For

  • An award in Education & Training (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership experience in Learning & Development, ideally within Health & Social Care.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to use learning data to drive improvements.
  • Experience in managing budgets, compliance, and digital learning initiatives.
  • Ability to travel across our locations as required.
